Muscle Potion: Permanently adds 1 or 2 points to
your characters strength stats.
Blindness Potion: Causes your character to become
temporarily blind.
Charisma Potion: Permanently adds 1 or 2 points
to your characters charisma stats.
Dexterity Potion: Permanently adds 1 or 2 points
to your characters dexterity stats.
Constitution Potion: Permanently adds 1 or 2 points
to your characters constitution stats.
Scrolls are very handy. Some scrolls are only good for one use
while others can be used up to 3 times. When you initially pick
up a scroll it will be identified as Owe Staos Scroll or some other
nonsensical words. Once you have read the scroll the effects will
be revealed and from then on the scroll will be correctly identified
when you pick it up.
Wishing Scroll: This scroll allows you to make 1-3
wishes. When you read the scroll a text box appears for you to type
in the item you would like to wish for. I recommend wishing for Plate
Armor +4, Ring of Regeneration +2, and a Death Blade +4.
Identify Scroll: You can use this scroll to identify
the magical properties 1-3 items.
Protection Scroll: This scroll grants a temporary
shield of protection.
Teleport Scroll: This Teleports your character to
another area of the dungeon level you are currently on.
Wisdom Scroll: Permanently grants 1-2 extra wisdom
points to your character.
Intelligence Scroll: Permanently grants 1-2 extra
intelligence points to your character.
Forget Scroll: Erases all your accumulated knowledge
of potions, scrolls, rings and wands.
Joke Scroll: According to
Mathew George McDonald-Bates..."Joke scrolls are just that...It's
like a Yay-Boo...Yay...got a scroll. Boo..(it's a) joke scroll...does
nothing.
Wands mostly used as weapons or at least during combat. The exception
is the Digging Wand. Wands have "charges" that indicate
how many times they can be used.
Digging Wand: The Digging wand turns one interior
boulder wall into a smaller boulder that can be pushed. Use the digging
wands to gain access to hidden rooms in the dungeon. HINT: Keep a
digging wand or two available for the last level of the dungeon.
Lightening Wand: Zaps monsters with a damaging lightning
bolt.
Ice Wand: Attacks the monster with a jet of ice.
NOTE: not effective on all creatures ....i think.
Fire Wand: Attacks the monster with a stream of
fire. NOTE: not effective on all creatures ....i
think
Polymorph Wand: The Polymorph Wand transforms the
target into some other kind of monster. Not necessarily a monster
that's easier to kill mind you.
Teleport Wand: This Wand teleports the target to
some other location on the same dungeon level. Sometimes very far
away sometimes not.

There are quite a few weapons in the game. My favorite is the Death
blade.
Two Handed Sword: I think this gives the best damage.
Long Sword: Slightly less effective than the two
handed sword but you can use a shied
Spear: Spears allow ranged combat.
Darts: Ranged weapons but not very effective.
Sling: Slightly more effective than darts.
Series II Mac: There are pretty rare to come across.
I can't remember what kind of damage they do.
Deathblade: A super effective long sword. Cool!

There are two "Orbs"... I've gotten two emails
regarding this hint. One contributor says that that there are two
obs, both of them on the 40th level and both of which if returned
to the above ground world will end the game with victory. Another
contributor wrote that there is only one REAL Orb, the one guarded
by the DW (Dark Wizard), and another fake Orb hidden in armor on the
40th level. I personally have never seen the fake orb. Have you ended
the game with an orb not guarded by the DW? Write me and be the tie
breaker here...

the properties of a given Scroll
